# Lemon Jet referrals: how your link turns into a vault reward

A friend opens your Lemon Jet link. Later, they connect a wallet and place
a prediction. Those are separate moments, and understanding the gap between
them is the key to understanding the referral program.

Lemon Jet rewards referrers for bets made by players linked to them. Under
the current game contract, the reward calculation is **0.3% of each referred
bet**, issued as shares in the LJT vault. A link click alone does not produce
a reward.

Here is how to create your link, what makes a referral count, and what you
actually receive.

## How to create your Lemon Jet referral link

1. Open the [referral page](/referral) and connect the wallet you want to use
   for the program. The referral panel inside the app offers the same actions
   if you prefer to stay on the game screen.
2. Find **Your link**. It contains the link itself and the actions available
   for your wallet.
3. If the page asks you to activate the link, complete the wallet sign-in
   signature. This proves control of the wallet; creating the link does not
   require an on-chain transaction or a gas payment.
4. Copy the link. You can also save a custom link name if the name you choose
   is available and accepted by the form.
5. Share that link with the people you want to invite. The referral page also
   carries a media library and a post composer that prepares the text and the
   link for X, Telegram, WhatsApp, Reddit, Farcaster and the Base App. The
   Telegram Mini App provides its own sharing flow; use the link generated in
   that context.

Use the app's copy or share action so the invitation keeps the information
needed to identify your wallet. A normal link to the homepage does not
carry that information.

Creating a link does not require a vault deposit. The wallet associated with
the link is the wallet that receives the referral shares.

## When does a referral become confirmed?

There are three stages to keep separate.

**The visit.** Someone opens a valid invitation link. The service records the
referral information for that browser or supported Telegram context.

**The pending referral.** The app can recognize the invitation before a game
transaction has established it on-chain. This gives the next eligible play
the referrer information it needs.

**The confirmed relationship.** A successful game transaction records the
referrer for that player's wallet in the contract. Future bets by that wallet
use the recorded relationship.

Both the referral page and the in-app panel distinguish a pending referrer
from a confirmed one.
Connecting a wallet or seeing the pending status is not, by itself, proof that
a reward has been issued.

### What the 30-day window means

The current invitation flow keeps first-touch attribution for 30 days. A later
invitation does not replace an existing, unexpired attribution for the same
context or extend its original window.

This window concerns the invitation before on-chain confirmation. Once the
referrer has been recorded in the current game contract, that relationship
has no built-in 30-day expiry and cannot be replaced through its normal
referral function.

Browser storage, a change of device or a different wallet can affect the
pending journey. Do not assume an invitation opened on one device will
automatically follow someone to another. Before playing, the invited person
can check **Your referrer** on the [referral page](/referral) or in the panel.

## How the 0.3% referral reward is calculated

The current contract calculates a reward amount from the LJT stake of each
referred bet:

**Reward calculation basis = bet amount × 0.003.**

For example:

These are arithmetic examples, not estimates of what a particular link will
earn. A link that brings no eligible bets produces no referral reward.

The reward is issued when the contract accepts the bet, before its random
outcome is settled. It does not depend on the invited player losing that
round, and a winning round does not cancel the referral reward.

## What you receive: shares in the LJT vault

This is the detail that makes the program different from a simple token
cashback transfer. The contract converts the reward calculation into vault
shares and issues those shares to your wallet.

Those shares represent a position in the pool that backs Lemon Jet payouts.
Their LJT value depends on the pool's assets and
the number of shares outstanding.

So, 10,000 LJT of referred bets creates rewards calculated from a combined
basis of 30 LJT. It does not promise that your wallet receives 30 spendable
LJT, or that a later withdrawal will return exactly that amount. Shares are
issued at the applicable conversion rate for each bet, and their redemption
value can subsequently rise or fall.

through referrals.

## How to withdraw referral rewards

Referral shares use the regular vault withdrawal flow. There is no separate
referral claim transaction needed to receive shares that the game contract
has already issued.

1. Connect the wallet associated with your referral link.
2. Open the vault and select its withdrawal action.
3. Choose an amount within the available limit and review the withdrawal
   details, including the token amount and network fee.
4. Review and sign the withdrawal transaction on Base.

The current contract applies an **exit fee of 200 basis points, or 2%**, using
its vault fee formula. The amount received and the shares used depend on
that formula and the pool's current state. The reward table above is a
calculation example, not a net withdrawal quote.

Available liquidity also matters. The pool reserves funds for outstanding
games, which can limit the amount redeemable at a particular moment. The
standard wallet transaction also needs ETH on Base for gas.

## How to read the referral panel

The panel shows different kinds of information, and they answer different
questions.

| Your Referrer | Whether your own wallet has a pending or confirmed referrer. |
| Your Referral Link | The invitation associated with your connected wallet. |
| Link opens | Recorded opens of your invitation link, subject to duplicate and preview-bot filtering. |
| Active claims | Current, unexpired invitation attributions. These are not a count of paying players or issued rewards. |

The traffic counters help you understand activity around your link. They do
not show how much LJT you can withdraw. Your vault position and the amount
available for withdrawal are separate from those traffic statistics.

## Share enough context to make the invitation useful

An invitation works better when the recipient understands what they are
opening. Explain that Lemon Jet is a multiplier game on Base, that bets use
LJT, and that a prediction can lose its full stake.

### How much does the Lemon Jet referral program pay?

The current contract uses 0.3% of each eligible referred bet as the basis
for issuing vault shares. Their eventual LJT redemption value depends on

### Do I get paid when someone opens my link?

An opening can create an attribution and update link statistics. Referral
shares are issued through eligible game transactions, not through clicks
or wallet connections alone.

### Does my friend have to lose for me to receive a reward?

The contract issues the referral reward when it accepts the bet, before
the outcome is resolved. The reward calculation does not depend on whether
that round wins or loses.

### Does the referral expire after 30 days?

The referral flow rejects self-referral. Opening your own link with the

Creating the link requires a connected wallet and, when prompted, a wallet
